An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bookkeeping team leader.
We are currently enjoying significant growth and require an experienced bookkeeper to lead the team.
The role will include training and managing a team of 3 to ensure monthly VAT return deadlines are met.
This will involve working on a wide variety of businesses across various industry sectors such as hotel & leisure, agriculture, medical, etc.
Skills & requirements (ideal but not essential)
- Experience of FreeAgent, Xero and Quickbooks
- Staying updated with VAT regulations and best practice to ensure compliance
- Processing accounts payable & receivable
- Attention to detail
- Work in an ethical and professional manner
- Preparation of VAT returns & supervising VAT return preparation of other team members
- Paying wages and suppliers through Modulr software
